Current Opportunities

The Wood Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join our talented Parts team in a Shipper/Receiver role at Woodridge Ford Lincoln! This is a great opportunity to start your career in the Automotive Industry!

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible to verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties also include assembling, addressing and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

The ideal candidate must be motivated, work well in a team environment, have a positive attitude as well as being reliable and organized. Attention to detail and quality checks are required to ensure accuracy when stocking parts orders.

Other Responsibilities (Included, but not limited to):

•Confer or correspond with Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager to rectify problems, such as damages, overage or shortages

•Oversee effective functioning of Warehouse and Parts Driver team

•Record shipment data, such as damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes

•Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment lifting up to 50lbs

Current Alberta Driver’s License and Abstract are required.

Village Honda is adding an Assistant Service Manager to their Service team! This position will support and report directly to the Service Manager at Village Honda. The Assistant Service Manager position requires a thorough understanding of retail service operations. The successful candidate will have supervisory experience and a proven track record in automotive services.

Duties and Responsibilities Include (But are not limited to):

Maintaining superior customer satisfaction and client follow-up

Perform administrative tasks such as R.O. close out, monitoring WIP, etc.

The ability to develop and implement service team strategies

The ability to assign duties to staff while setting clear expectations

The ability to lead, motivate and manage the Service Department

Ensure staffing levels are adequate

Assist with supervision of drive through and office staff

Perform duties of the Service Manager, in their absence

The ability to create and implement new marketing strategies for continued growth

Experience in resolving customer opportunities

The ability to review all incoming information and take timely, appropriate action as required

Assisting with forecasting and planning both yearly and monthly goals and objectives

Engaging and meeting with staff on a regular basis, promoting engagement and two-way communication

Qualifications:

Experience with managing and developing employees

Previous Service Advisor experience

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Honda Experience is an asset
