Calgary Adrenaline have served up yet another Wood Automotive Group Kid Hero! Congratulations to Sage Haakenson from the Calgary Adrenaline Fastball U14 Team who was nominated for and won the Kid Hero title for May 2019! Sage was put forward by the team coaches for her commitment, having only missed one practice this season, and showing up for optional practices too.
“On the field, Sage is continually taking charge and leading by example as she plays an aggressive game, always talking it up and communicating to her teammates the next heads up play.”
Kid Hero winners receive a pizza party, a medal, plus gift certificates for the winner, their parents and coach. The Wood Automotive Group also donate $250 to Kidsport and $250 to Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank in their name.
