In recognition of National Truth and Reconciliation Day (Orange Shirt Day) and in the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Tsuut’ina, Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. We also acknowledge the pain and suffering of Indigenous people as a result of the residential school system. As a show of support, the Wood Automotive Group is honoured to donate $5,000 to the Tsuut’ina Nation Food Bank which supports more than 100 Nation members every month.
